Prof. Greve has written extensively on the American legal system and will speak on the theme of his most recent book, The Upside-Down Constitution (Harvard University Press, 2012). Prior to joining the faculty at GMU, Prof. Greve was the John G. Searle Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute for more than a decade. In 1989 he co-founded, and until 2000 directed, the Center for Individual Rights, a public interest law firm. He currently chairs the board of the Competitive Enterprise Institute. Prof. Greve holds a Ph.D in government from Cornell University and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Hamburg.
