Join the Memphis Lawyers Chapter for a discussion on the important role of the Courts in our society and the need to ensure access to justice. In addressing the role of the Courts, our panel will examine and discuss ideas surrounding modernizing legal services.  This will include (1) licensing of paraprofessionals; (2) modifying regulations on ownership and operation of law firms; (3) changes to legal education and licensure, and (4) issues surrounding lawyer mobility and multijurisdictional practice. The panel will also discuss how these topics impact lawyer competency, advocacy for clients and client confidentiality.
