The Michigan Lawyer Chapter of the Federalist Society is pleased to host Dr. Daniel Z. Epstein, Vice President of America First Legal, law professor, and personal counsel to President Donald J. Trump.
Dr. Epstein previously served as Senior Associate White House Counsel and Special Assistant to the President in the first Trump Administration. He now helps lead America First Legal’s high-profile litigation and amicus strategy, including in the run-up to the tariff cases now before the U.S. Supreme Court this November.
Drawing on his experience in both government and private practice, Dr. Epstein will discuss the constitutional and statutory issues raised by the pending tariff litigation, its implications for separation of powers, and what to expect when the Court hears arguments later this term.
