Campus “speech codes” and related restrictions on freedom of expression have proliferated in recent years. These speech restrictions raise significant First Amendment and policy concerns and have been litigated throughout the country. Greg Lukianoff, president of the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE), will present the state of free speech and individual liberty on America's college and university campuses as outlined in his book, Unlearning Liberty: Campus Censorship and the End of American Debate.
