This event is a part of a 4-part series that will occur monthly. Future dates TBA. Have you ever wondered what the ideal society looks like? Debated what forms of government would best accomplish that vision? Asked whether we are closer or father from that vision than we were before? If you like wrestling with big questions like these, then Publius is the thing for you.
Publius is a new reading group started exclusively by the ATL Young Lawyers Chapter that meets monthly in a small group setting and examines and debates the ideas and writings of great thinkers throughout history on issues of law and government. Imagine a book club or a bible study, but for political theory.
We are going to begin by examining topics addressed in the Federalist Papers, and will be joined by Dr. Bryan McGraw, Dean of Social Sciences and Chair of the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Wheaton College.
Given the current situation with COVID-19, all meetings will be conducted via Zoom until further notice. A Zoom link will be sent out prior to the meeting to all those who register using the button above.
