Hans von Spakovsky is a senior legal fellow in the Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C. Before joining the Heritage Foundation, Mr. von Spakovsky served for two years as a member of the Federal Election Commission and in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division before that. He will discuss his new book, “Obama’s Enforcer: Eric Holder’s Justice Department,” which discusses some of the high-profile controversies—ranging from the “Fast and Furious” program to the surveillance of a Fox News reporter—affecting the Justice Department under Eric Holder’s leadership and makes provocative arguments about the Department’s changing priorities.
