Separation of Powers

Join the Federalist Society for a special event with North Dakota Supreme Court Justice Jerod Tufte. Justice Tufte will be speaking on separation of powers issues. Justice Tufte has unique perspective on these issues as Justice and former legal counsel to the governor. This talk should be particularly interesting to students that will be doing the legislative externship in Bismarck next spring! About our speaker: Prior to becoming Justice, Tufte worked in private practice, served as the State's Attorney for Kidder and Sheridan counties, was legal counsel to Governor Jack Dalrymple, and served as a district court judge.
