Milton Friedman would have turned 102 years old this year. In celebration of this anniversary, the Federalist Society's Connecticut Lawyers Chapter is co-sponsoring a lunch with the Yankee Institute in honoring Milton’s legacy! Stephen Moore will discuss the impact the size of government can have on the economy, the works of Milton Freedman and the legal and policy implications Milton Freedman's work.
Special guest Stephen Moore, chief economist at the Heritage Foundation, formerly wrote on the economy and public policy for The Wall Street Journal. Moore, who was also a member of The Journal’s editorial board, returned to Heritage in January 2014 — about 25 years after his tenure as the organization’s Grover M. Hermann Fellow in Budgetary Affairs from 1984 to 1987.
Cost: Free for current Federalist Society members, $25 for non-members
