Michael Norton has served as senior counsel with Alliance Defending Freedom since 2011, playing an integral role in defending the sanctity of human life in the courts.  He served as U.S. Attorney for Colorado from 1988 to 1993, appointed by President Ronald Reagan and reappointed by President George H.W. Bush.  He later worked as a top litigator with the Denver law firm Burns, Figa & Will, P.C., specializing in complex civil litigation, probate litigation, and white collar criminal defense.  Norton received a J.D. from American University's Washington College of Law, Washington, DC, in June 1968, and a Masters of Divinity degree from Denver Seminary, Denver, Colorado, in May 2009.
