Lead Attorney for Suzette Kelo in Kelo v. New London, Scott Bullock, who argued in front of the U.S. Supreme Court, will be giving a talk on the difference between "public use" and "public purpose," and will be discussing the ramifications that Kelo has had throughout the nation. UNC Professor John V. Orth will be giving a brief introduction to the history of eminent domain and provide commentary on Mr. Bullock's presentation.
