Sean Gallagher, a shareholder of Polsinelli Shugart, PC, has more than 20 years of experience covering a broad range of litigation. He has represented the Governor of Colorado in the state's congressional redistricting litigation in 2001, a U.S. Congressman in a congressional race recount, a member of the President's advance team, and members of the Vice President's Secret Service detail in federal civil rights litigation. He also represents clients bringing constitutional and statutory challenges to federal and state agency actions.
Mr. Gallagher is one of the founding editors of The Practitioner's Guide to Colorado Employment Law, which has been published by the Colorado Bar Association since 1999. He is a frequent lecturer on litigation-related topics, having lectured at over 130 training programs since 1999. He was appointed by the Governor of Colorado to a six-year term on the Colorado Supreme Court Nominating Commission, which fills the vacancies on the Colorado Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals, and served on the Governor's Year 2000 Task Force to insure Y2K readiness.
Mr. Gallagher earned a B.A. from Baylor University and a J.D. from The University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
