  • Harmeet Dhilllon, Center for American Liberty: Dhillon is a nationally recognized lawyer, trusted boardroom advisor, and passionate advocate for individual, corporate and institutional clients across numerous industries and walks of life. In addition to civil rights litigation, her focus is on commercial litigation, employment law, First Amendment rights, and election law matters. 

  • Ilya Shapiro, Director of Constitutional Studies at the Cato Institute: Before joining Cato, Shaprio was a special assistant/ adviser to the Multi-National Force in Iraq on rule-of-law issues and practiced at Patton Boggs and Cleary Gottlieb. An author- latest book, on judicial nominations and Supreme Court politics, coming out in September- political commentator, and constitutional law scholar. 

In addition to discussing the Emergency Powers and Constitutional Rights during Pandemics, Dhillon will also discuss the First Amendment lawsuit filed against Governor Newsom (see the complaint) and the recent demand letter she sent to Riverside County.
