Attorney Alan Gura argued D.C. v. Heller in front of the U.S. Supreme Court on Mr. Heller's behalf, and ultimately Justice Scalia authored the most significant Second Amendment case in decades when affirming an individual's right to possess firearms.  Mr. Gura is still very active on Second Amendment issues, litigating cases across the country.  Please join us as he visits our chapter to discuss Second Amendment rights in post-Trump federal courts.  He will also comment on the constitutionality of gun control measures approved by California voters in November.
