An Evening with David W. Reinhard

Portland Lawyers Chapter

Please join the Portland Lawyers Chapter for an evening social hour and discussion with David W. Reinhard.

David W. Reinhard wrote columns and editorials for 22 years as an associate editorial-page editor at The Oregonian. After leaving the Portland daily in November 2008, he worked as a lobbyist in Salem and a political consultant on several statewide ballot campaigns, as well as races for the U.S. Senate and Oregon governor. In recent years, Reinhard has ghost-written and edited books, columns, and friend-of-the-court briefs in cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. Reinhard holds a doctorate in history from the Pennsylvania State University and is the author of The Republican Right since 1945 (University Press of Kentucky, 1983). He and his wife Susan have three grown children and now live in Yardley, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Reinhard will describe a strategy to win hearts and minds on appeal with amicus curiae briefs.
