Mr. Bandow, a former special assistant to President Ronald Reagan, is a senior fellow at the Cato Institute in Washington. He has produced Institute studies on Asian economic and foreign policy matters. An author of books on global poverty and international aid, in recent years he has turned to the U.S. economy, authoring "Forget the Fiscal Cliff and Fear the Debt Crisis" (The Wainwright Perspective). He frequently writes for Fortune, the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Times and serves as a commentator on Fox News and CNN. He received his Juris Doctor from Stanford University Law School.
