Federal bureaucrats are reading your emails. Obamacare is a constitutional “tax.” The police can seize your DNA upon arrest. Despite its plain language, our current Constitution is not working the way the Founders intended. Courts are twisting themselves in knots to expand the power of government while limiting the rights of individuals. This situation cannot be remedied without a constitutional convention.

On the other hand, a convention would open the door to all kinds of mischief. What we really need are courts that interpret the Constitution in the way its authors intended: as a government-limiting and liberty-protecting document. A convention is not the answer. Indeed, it will create more problems than it solves.

What say you? Come join the debate!
