Justice Sharon Kennedy was elected the 154th justice of the Ohio Supreme Court in November 2012. Justice Kennedy’s first day of oral arguments was January 8, 2013. That day also saw the addition to the Court of two new justices junior to Justice Kennedy. This is the first time since 1934 that the Court has experienced such a large turnover at one time. Justice Kennedy will inform us of the happenings at the court while the new court is in its infancy.
