A Discussion on Over-Litigation with Walter Olson

Buffalo Lawyers Chapter

Speaker:

  • Walter Olson, Senior Fellow, Cato Institute's Center for Constitutional Studies

Walter Olson's reputation as the "intellectual guru of tort reform" is attributable to his prolific writings on mass litigation and workplace lawsuits, which include three books, The Litigation Explosion, The Excuse Factory, and The Rule of Lawyers. He also founded one of the oldest and most popular law blogs, Overlawyered.com. Olson's remarks on October 30 will focus on "over-litigation" and its effects on the American legal system and American society.
