Ed Artau is a judge for the Fourth District Court of Appeal in Florida. He was appointed to the appellate court by Governor Ron DeSantis in 2020. He formerly served as a trial judge on the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in Florida. He was appointed to the trial court by Governor Rick Scott in 2014. Judge Artau is a graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center where he served as a law review editor and officer of the Georgetown Student Chapter of the Federalist Society from 1985-1988. Judge Artau is a founder of the first Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society in Florida.
