Bradley A. Benbrook

Bradley A. Benbrook is the founding partner of Benbrook Law Group. Before starting the firm, Brad was a partner for several years at Stevens & O’Connell LLP, Sacramento’s premiere litigation firm. Brad served as a partner at DLA Piper when it acquired Stevens & O’Connell’s practice. Prior to moving to Sacramento, he worked in Palo Alto as an associate at Wilson Sonsini, the nation’s leading law firm serving technology and venture capital clients.

After graduating from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California at Berkeley, Brad worked as a judicial clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta. Brad has litigated in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate level throughout California, and he has defended state and federal regulatory investigations throughout the country.

Brad’s notable litigation includes the successful defense of State Farm in an action by then-Attorney General Bill Lockyer’s office to invalidate settlement agreements entered into with the Department of Insurance under former Commissioner Chuck Quackenbush following the Northridge earthquake. In the 2012 election cycle, he defended a donor in high-profile litigation over the alleged violation of state campaign finance regulations. He has also successfully defended a number of companies in actions brought under the California Political Reform Act.

Brad obtained his undergraduate degree from Stanford University, where he was a four-year letterman on the varsity golf team.
