On March 10, 2018, the Federalist Society presented Prof. Josh Blackman of South Texas College of Law Houston with the inaugural Joseph Story Award.
Named after Joseph Story, the youngest Supreme Court Justice in history, the Story Award is intended to recognize promising junior academics who have demonstrated both commitment to teaching and exceptional legal scholarship.
Like Story, Prof. Blackman is well-known in the legal community as a prolific scholar, particularly notable for his dedication to law students and his sizable presence on social media.
As always, the Federalist Society takes no particular legal or public policy positions. All opinions expressed are those of the speakers.
