Crawford v. Marion County, argued in front of the Supreme Court on January 9th 2008, challenges an Indiana law requiring all voters who cast a ballot in person to present a photo ID issued by the United States or the State of Indiana. Professor Allison Hayward, of George Mason University School of Law and former Chief of Staff and Counsel in the office of Federal Election Commission Commissioner Bradley A.
