This podcast is the product of the Federalist Society's Article I Initiative, which seeks to encourage scholarship and foster debate on how Congress can be effective in the 21st century while remaining faithful to the Founder's constitutional vision. In pursuit of that goal, Tom and Tim, the director and assistant director of the Initiative, interview guests who are on the front-lines of Washington politics, to help our audience understand how policy is made, how lawmakers think and evaluate decisions, and, ultimately, how the United States is governed.
In this episode, Tom and Tim speak with Cory Crowley, a republican strategist and long-time staffer on Capitol Hill, about why Congressional approval ratings are low, why it matters, and what might improve the ratings.
