  • Governor Scott Walker has appointed state Court of Appeals Judge Rebecca Bradley to fill a vacancy on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Judge Bradley had already been campaigning for election next year to replace retiring Justice N. Patrick Crooks before he passed away last month. Read more at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
  • The California Coastal Commission, as part of a deal allowing expansion of the theme park's San Diego location, has prohibited Sea World from breeding killer whales at the park. The ban does not impact Sea World's locations in other states. Read more at Time.
