The Federalist Society's Article I Initiative is dedicated to exploring why the modern Congress is not functioning as the most powerful branch as envisioned by the Framers. In order to help spur new thought and discussion about legislative power, the Initiative has just launched our fourth annual writing contest aimed at younger* thinkers with the theme, "Judicial Interpretation and the Erosion of Legislative Power"

We hope this contest will draw new and creative ideas that can improve legislative functionality and Constitutional accountability.

Please visit the Article I Initiative website and our Writing Contest page to stay connected and learn more.

*Participants must be age 40 or under. Click here to learn more about contest eligibility and the rules.
