Rona Kaufman is an associate professor at Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University, where she teaches constitutional law, employment discrimination, family law, and gender and the law. Her scholarship focuses on intersections of law, women, motherhood, gender, antisemitism, antizionism, and Jewish peoplehood. Her articles have been published in the Buffalo Law Review, Florida International University Law Review, Wisconsin Journal of Law, Gender & Society, and other publications.
Before becoming an academic, Kaufman practiced commercial litigation and family law with Fulbright & Jaworski (now Norton Rose Fulbright), and employment law with Baker Hostetler in Houston, Texas. Prior to joining Duquesne Kline School of Law's faculty, Kaufman completed the Abraham L. Freedman Fellowship at Temple University Beasley School of Law and earned her Master’s in Legal Education.
Professor Kaufman was a recipient of the Wexner Foundation’s two-year Wexner Heritage fellowship (2018-2020). In 2024, she was selected to be a member of President Isaac Herzog’s Voice of the People first global cohort. Professor Kaufman serves on the Brandies Center for Human Rights’ Center for Legal Innovation advisory board and on the Holocaust Claims Commission’s legal education working group. In 2025, she studied antisemitism and Holocaust inversion and distortion at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem, Israel. Professor Kaufman studied at Oxford with the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism Policy in 2025. Professor Kaufman is co-founder of the Center for Jewish Law & Policy. She is the Chair of the Law & Antisemitism Conference. Professor Kaufman works with various other organizations to protect the civil rights of Jews and combat Jew-hatred.
Professor, University of Minnesota Law School
Ilan Wurman is the Julius E. Davis Professor of Law at the University of Minnesota, where he teaches administrative law and constitutional law. He previously taught at Arizona State University. He writes primarily on the Fourteenth Amendment, administrative law, separation of powers, and constitutionalism. His academic writing has appeared in the Yale Law Journal, the Stanford Law Review, the University of Chicago Law Review, the University of Pennsylvania Law Review, the Virginia Law Review, the Duke Law Journal, the Minnesota Law Review, the Notre Dame Law Review, and the Texas Law Review among other journals.
Professor Wurman is the author of a casebook, Administrative Law Theory and Fundamentals: An Integrated Approach (Foundation Press 2d ed. 2024). He is also the author of A Debt Against the Living: An Introduction to Originalism (Cambridge 2017), and The Second Founding: An Introduction to the Fourteenth Amendment (Cambridge 2020). His next book, The Constitution of 1789: A New Introduction, is also forthcoming with Cambridge University Press.
Professor Wurman practices law with the firm Tully Bailey. He has litigated a variety of administrative law and constitutional law cases, including cases involving COVID-19 restrictions, transmission lines, and Appointments Clause challenges. He also devised winning public nuisance theories to force city governments to address the increasingly challenging public camping crises throughout the country.

David N. Wecht is a Pennsylvania Supreme Court justice. Wecht is one of three Democrats elected to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in November 2015. He was sworn in to office on January 7, 2016, for a term that expires on January 4, 2026.

Eugene B. Meyer, former President and CEO of the Federalist Society, has served as Executive Director, CEO, and/or President of the organization for more than 40 years. He is responsible for shepherding the organization from a small group of law students to a community of 90,000 lawyers, law students, academics, judges, and others interested in the rule of law. The Society now includes a Student Chapter at nearly every ABA-accredited law school in the country and Lawyers Chapters in 220 major cities across the nation. Gene earned his B.A. in history at Yale in 1975 and his M.A. in political science from the London School of Economics in 1976. Gene currently serves on the boards of the U.S. Chess Center, the Holman Foundation, the Sarah Scaife Foundation, and the advisory board of the Adam Smith Society. He holds the title of International Chess Master.
Senior Fellow, Mises Institute
Alex J. Pollock is a Senior Fellow with the Mises Institute, providing thought and policy leadership on financial issues and the study of financial systems. His work includes cycles of booms and busts, financial crises with their political responses, housing finance, government-sponsored enterprises, risk and uncertainty, central banking, banking and financial regulation, corporate governance, retirement finance, student loans, and the politics of finance.
He previously served as the Principal Deputy Director of the Office of Financial Research in the U.S. Treasury Department 2019-2021. He was a Distinguished Senior Fellow with the R Street Institute 2015-2019 and 2021, and a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, 2004-2015. Among the many aspects of his AEI work, he developed the One Page Mortgage Form to give borrowers in clear form the key information they need in order to know what they are committing themselves to. He was President and CEO of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago from 1991 to 2004. There he invented the Mortgage Partnership Finance program, which successfully created front-end mortgage credit risk sharing beginning in 1997. His decades of banking experience include being a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, 1991.
Pollock was a director of the CME Group 2004-2019 and of Ascendium Education Group 1989-2019. He is a director and past-chairman of the Great Books Foundation and a past president of the International Union for Housing Finance.
He is the co-author of Surprised Again! - The COVID Crisis and the New Market Bubble (2022), and the author of Finance and Philosophy—Why We’re Always Surprised (2018) and Boom and Bust: Financial Cycles and Human Prosperity (2011), as well as numerous articles and Congressional testimony.

Winthrop Watson was appointed by the Board of Directors as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2011. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer of FHLBank Pittsburgh, a position that he assumed in November 2009. Mr. Watson served as Managing Director at J.P. Morgan in Hong Kong from 2007-2009 after serving that company in various capacities in New York for 22 years. In Hong Kong, he served as Senior Client Executive for J.P. Morgan’s Asia Pacific central banks and sovereign wealth funds, as head of its Asia Pacific debt capital markets, and as Chairman of its Asia Pacific Investment Banking Business Evaluation Committee. Earlier, Mr. Watson was Managing Director of J.P. Morgan in New York, where he helped build the company’s investment and commercial banking franchise for U.S. government-sponsored enterprises including the FHLBanks. His background also includes several financial advisory assignments on behalf of the FHLBanks. Mr. Watson holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Stanford University.
