Guidelines
Federalist Society Review
- Audience: lawyers and law students.
- Length: 5,000-15,000 words.
- Sources: Bluebook citations in footnotes.
- Format: Microsoft Word document.
- Structure: Organize your article around a thesis, and ensure that each section has a role in supporting that thesis.
- Tone and style: Try to stay neutral in your treatment of the topic you are addressing. If you do take a position, please maintain an academic tone and address counterarguments, and include links to opposing views with your submission.
FedSoc Blog
- Audience: lawyers, law students, educated public.
- Length: 500-1,500 words.
- Sources: Hyperlinks in text, no citations.
- Format: Microsoft Word document.
- Tone and style: Try to stay neutral in your treatment of the topic you are addressing. If you do take a position, please maintain an academic tone and address counterarguments, and include links to opposing views with your submission.
