Please join the Minnesota Lawyers Chapter for a luncheon and discussion with Judge Matthew E. Johnson. The Minnesota Court of Appeals is a state-wide, unified, intermediate appellate court, which makes final decisions in approximately 95% of state-court appeals in Minnesota. Judge Matthew E. Johnson has served on the court for seventeen years, including three years as chief judge. In this lunchtime presentation, he will talk about the traditions and inner workings of the court, will share his insights into the court’s institutional character, and will provide practical tips for lawyers appearing before the court.
