Brian Anderson is a Manhattan Institute scholar. Formerly, he was a research associate in social and political studies at the American Enterprise Institute, and the literary editor of Crisis. Mr. Anderson is a prolific author. His most recent work includes co-authoring "A Manifesto for Media Freedom" and numerous articles regarding the First Amendment.

Anderson has a Ph.D. in political philosophy from the University of Ottawa, and an M.A. and B.A. from Boston College. He is married and lives with his wife and two young sons in Westchester County, New York.
