The U.S. Supreme Court hears oral argument on the Obamacare cases on March 26-28 and will likely decide them by late June. While the constitutional issues unfold, the political issues continue to evolve. President Obama plausibly claims that his likely opponent in November, Governor Romney, implemented the same policies at the state level. Cost estimates for the president's law continue to grow, as do estimates for federal deficits as far as the eye can see. Author and columnist John Fund will assess the status of these battles and the possible outcomes.
