Featuring:
- Danielle R. Acker Susanj, Executive Vice President at The Fairness Center
Unions are supposed to represent workers. But what happens when those unions take on a policy agenda that conflicts with the culture of some of their members? And is there a legal issue when that union represents public employees instead of workers in the private sector? Those questions and more are all wrapped up in a series of cases filed by The Fairness Center, including a recent case against the United Auto Workers who represent University of California at Berkeley researchers. Danielle R. Acker Susanj, Executive Vice President at The Fairness Center will join us for a discussion of the clash between constitutional and civil rights provisions that apply to unions with growing anti-Semitism on campuses over the last two years.
