He holds a Ph.D. in international political economy from the University of Florida, a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, and B.A. from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. Dr. Adams is the editor of and primary contributor to Lex Est Sanctio Sancta, covering national legal developments impacting religious institutions. He chairs Holland & Knight's Religious Institution Team, has published extensively in law reviews and trade journals, and lectures across the United States to groups such as the Christian Leadership Alliance and the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities. Dr. Adams has also served as Chief Litigation Counsel for Christian Legal Society's Center for Law and Religious Freedom and as Deputy General Counsel to Governor Jeb Bush.
