Jason Brennan is a trenchant and prolific Professor who teaches at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. Brennan writes about democratic theory, the ethics of voting, competence and power, freedom, and the moral foundations of commercial society. He has been called "one of the world’s leading academic experts on voting and political knowledge." He is the author of a number of accessible and fascinating books on these topics. Fresh off the presses, his new book, Against Democracy, has led to a number of media appearances and, predictably, some controversy in the academic arena.
Joe Trillo is a State Representative from Rhode Island representing District 24 in the city of Warwick, Rhode Island. He was named Deputy Minority Leader of the House Republicans in 2006. Per RI Public Radio, Representative Trillo is the "the dean of House Republicans ... who chairs Donald Trump's Rhode Island campaign. He was first elected as a rep in 2000 and currently serves as minority whip of the 13-member House GOP caucus."
