How and where should the U.S. Department of Justice conduct the trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed? Should officials have read Miranda rights to the Christmas Day bomber? What antiterrorism and homeland security practices have changed since President Obama took office, and what practices have stayed the same? Gregory Katsas, former Assistant Attorney General with the U.S. Department of Justice during the Bush Administration, and Peter Shane, Professor of Law at Moritz who specializes in separation of powers issues, will discuss these and other homeland security issues. The discussion will be moderated by Ohio Supreme Court Justice Maureen O'Connor, who served as the first chair of the Ohio Security Task Force.
