The one-year anniversary of President Donald Trump's second term is fast approaching. The work of the administration has inspired renewed interest in how White House and Justice Department lawyers advance the President's priorities. From the White House Counsel's Office to other White House components, lawyers play a key part in helping the President effectuate his agenda. Additionally, lawyers at the Justice Department serve a critical role in carrying out the work of the executive branch. Join the Federalist Society's DC Young Lawyer Chapter for a conversation with James Burnham and Judge Gregory Katsas—two former executive branch lawyers—about the job of lawyering in the White House and the Justice Department.
Featuring:
- Hon. Gregory G. Katsas, Judge, United States Court of Appeals, District of Columbia Circuit
- James M. Burnham, Founder and Managing Partner, King Street Legal, PLLC
- Stanley Woodward, Associate Attorney General, United States Department of Justice
