Mr. Kelsey was elected to the Tennessee Senate in 2009, representing West Tennessee's 31st District. Brian practices law in the private sector at the Kelsey Firm. He received his law degree from Georgetown University and his undergraduate degree, with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Mr. Kelsey's legislative agenda for the 2010 session includes measures to bar a state income tax, to rovide "parental choice" scholarships for primary and secondary education, and to provide "health care
choice."
