Susanna Dokupil

Susanna Dokupil is a former Assistant Solicitor General for the Office of the Attorney General of Texas. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy and Line Editor for the Harvard International Law Journal. She clerked for the Honorable Jerry E. Smith, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit then joined the trial section of Baker Botts L.L.P., then was of counsel at Alexander, Dubose, Jones & Townsend LLP. Prior to law school, Ms. Dokupil received her B.A., magna cum laude, in the University Scholars program and her M.A. in Church-State Studies from Baylor University. Ms. Dokupil’s work has appeared in National Review Online, the Washington Times, the Houston Chronicle, the Texas Bar Journal, the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy, The Texas Review of Law & Politics, The Cato Supreme Court Review, and The American Enterprise, among others. Ms. Dokupil has also served as VP of Publications for the Federalist Society's Religious Liberties Practice Group and as a member of the Religious Liberties Practice Group Executive Committee.
