Kevin Zielinski is a 3L at the Southern Illinois University Simmons School of Law and the President of the Federalist Society He is also a Student Liaison to the Criminal Law and Procedure FedSoc Practice Group. Throughout 2024, Kevin worked alongside the Jackson County State's Attorney and Assistant State's Attorneys in and outside courtroom. As of February 2025, Kevin is finishing his Juris Doctor Degree, preparing for the July Bar examination, and working part-time at a small Illinois firm that specializes in FOID Card disputes: he applies his legal writing and researching skills to assist in protecting the Second Amendment rights of Illinois citizens who have either been denied a Firearm Owner Identification (FOID) card or who have had their FOID and/or CCL licenses suspended or revoked in Illinois.
