Erika L. Maley

Erika Maley is the Principal Deputy Solicitor General of the Commonwealth of Virginia. She represents the Commonwealth and its agencies in state and federal courts of appeals. Erika was previously a partner in the Supreme Court and Appellate group at Sidley Austin LLP. She has handled cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, federal and state courts of appeals and federal district courts, involving a wide range of federal constitutional, statutory and administrative law issues. She also advised clients on developing a legal and regulatory strategy for significant issues in the pre-litigation phase.
