Daniel Lips

Dan Lips serves as the Director of Cyber and National Security with the Lincoln Network. From 2011 to 2019, he worked on the staff of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, including serving as homeland security director. He previously served with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He was also a member of the D.C. Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. From 2000 to 2010, he worked for national and state think tanks, focusing primarily on education policy. He is currently a visiting fellow with the Foundation for Research on Equal Opportunity. He earned his BA from Princeton University and his MA from the Institute of World Politics in Washington, D.C.
