New York State Board of Elections v. Lopez Torres
On January 16, 2008, the Court decided the case of New York State Board of Elections v. Lopez Torres. The Court held that New York’s system of choosing party nominees for the State Supreme Court does not violate the First Amendment. Gibson Dunn’s Matt McGill discusses the case.
