- The execution of Richard Glossip—the inmate at the center of last Supreme Court term's major death penalty opinion—has been delayed for a month by the Governor Mary Fallin of Oklahoma in order to ensure that the execution drug cocktail complies with the state's requirements. In repsponse, Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt asked for a delay of two other executions to sort out the drug procurement issue. Read more at USA Today and ABC News.
