The FTC has sued Meta for a third time alleging violation of the antitrust laws. These violations supposedly have their roots in the company's acquisitions of Instagram and WhatsApp, both of which happened more than a decade ago. Why has the FTC been so persistent in pursuing Meta over these deals? If it is successful, how will consumers benefit?
