Vilda Westh Blanc

Vilda Westh Blanc is a rising junior at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, majoring in International Politics with a concentration in security, minoring in journalism, and pursuing a certificate in diplomatic studies. A cadet in Georgetown’s Army ROTC program, she is a newly naturalized American citizen with a multicultural upbringing growing up across three different continents. Vilda speaks English, French, and Swedish fluently, with additional proficiency in Spanish and beginner Russian. Vilda currently serves as a Collegiate Associate with the Manhattan Institute and has contributed to publications including The National Review, National Interest, The Hill, and City Journal. At Georgetown she serves as Deputy Director of Policy for the Alexander Hamilton Society and has conducted research on bureaucratic reform, defense innovation, and both foreign and national security policy.
