Joseph Matal

Counsel to Senator Jeff Sessions, Senate Judiciary Committee

Joseph Matal is currently a Republican General Counsel on the Senate Judiciary Committee for ranking member Senator Jeff Sessions. He was a law clerk to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, an associate attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and a counsel to U.S. Senator Jon Kyl. He is a graduate of Stanford University and Boalt Hall Law School.
