On a rainy afternoon in 1996, Mr. Turner Frierson, Jr. exited a Wal-Mart store in Indianola, Mississippi after a shopping trip. Mr. Frierson slipped and fell in the vestibule, an accident he claimed resulted from a wet tile floor.
