Professor Graglia joined the Texas law faculty in 1966. Prior to that, he was an attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice and practiced law in Washington, D.C. He has written widely in both scholarly and popular journals on current issues of constitutional law and the role of the Supreme Court in the American system of government, and is a frequent speaker at scholarly symposia and on radio and television. He has testified before Congress and the Texas Legislature on the subjects of judicial review, the Supreme court, race discrimination, "affirmative action," school busing, constitutional law, abortion, antitrust, religious freedom, and federalism.
