An Advocate’s Practical Introduction to Crafting Originalist Arguments

Chattanooga Lawyers Chapter

Join the Chattanooga Lawyers Chapter in a discussion on Originalist reasoning and rendering decisions in court. Courts are looking ever more to originalist reasoning in rendering decisions, so advocates must be equipped to research and present those arguments.  This CLE will survey originalist thinking, discuss areas where originalist thinking is developing, introduce centrally important historical resources, and offer practical insight and resources for researching legal history. 1 Hour of CLE.
