Marco A. Peraza is attorney-advisor for consumer protection to FTC Commissioner Andrew Ferguson. Previously, Marco served as legal advisor on wireline competition and cybersecurity matters to FCC Commissioner Nathan Simington. Prior to his time at the FCC, he clerked for Judge Michael B. Brennan on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Before law school, he worked as a software engineer at Microsoft, where he focused on operating system security and data protection. Originally from Miami, Florida, Marco received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania and A.B. in computer science from Dartmouth College.
