Race-Based Attack on the SAT II

Standardized testing has been widely relied on by educators and college admission boards as a reliable predictor of a student’s ability to perform in a collegiate environment.  However, the use of standardized tests such as the SAT II Subject Tests in the admissions process has undergone much criticism from politically correct educators in recent years.  The University of California Board of Regents will be voting on a proposal possibly as early as mid November that would remove the SAT II Subject Tests requirement from the UC admissions process.  Roger Clegg, president and general counsel of the Center for Equal Opportunity, exposes the effects of the proposal and submits that educators should advance a selection of criteria without regard to race or ethnicity.
